DREAM GURLZ
Binyamin Gallery, Tel Aviv, March 2023
Laying upon carpeted beds of wetland,
Dream gurlz.
In princess castles
Slaying dragons
Grinding teeth
Up and down repunzel’s tower
Fucking it like an accessory
Howling to the moon and singing to the mornings
Lest the universe mess with them
They have their shields,
They comb their wild hair-
They trust in the universe.
They are adorned with beatific jewels and diamonds
Colors of the flowers
They are red
They are green
They are pink
They paint their nails
They dream, they dream, they dream,
They are real, they are angry, they are gorgeous,
Candy serpent flower venom vengeance seeking sweetness
They are dream gurlz.

BOXES
Hazit window display gallery, Salame 60, Tel Aviv, January 2017
BOXES is an installational exhibition by Sivan Lavie. Sivan invited established artists, young artists, friends and children to take part in her process by creating individual pieces within the large sculpture. The children are pupils at Ajial school in Yafo, where Sivan teaches as part of the “Amitei Bezalel” scholarship, courtesy of the Rothschild Foundation. Sivan is interested in the accessibility to artmaking and the place where Fine Art meets Craft, the tension between the two, the thin boundary between them and  the place where they become one. This is exactly the ground Sivan treads within her research and work.

"A world containing many little worlds, I create an imagined kingdom where all my favorite artists, friends and children I work with make art together. I’m looking for this moment where things stop and the eyes travel inside a thought, or the possibility of a slightly skewed world, where things are pretty much the same but something has an additional beat. Imagine picking up a pebble and finding jelly beans underneath it. Or looking under the bed and finding glowing pink lights- looking at the sole of your shoe and discovering a tiny painting. This is how my mind works, I have endless curiosity in and beyond our amazing world."

Participants: Abed Alrachaman, Adel Daka, Bisan Daka, Bar Dvir, Celine Assad, Chadije Abu Chalifa, Chaled Riffi, David Bennaroch, David Duvshani, Elad Rosen, Gadi Kozich, Gilad Ratman, Halil Chabashi, Hoda Kabob, Or Ariely, Oree Holban, Lorin Assad, Lian Dabbes, Lian Kabob, Larin Ivanti, Mahmud Sualchi, Malak Ashur, Marian Safuri, Miriam Nabolsi, Nadin Dalak, Nahala Abudiya, Sama Mansur, Idan Bitton, Pesach Slabosky, Sara Shkechafi, Shelly Reich, Shiraz Kozar, Shirel Safra, Yonatan Geron, Yosef Burgal, Yosef Halili, Zainab Chamdan.

MAGICAL OFFSPRING
Geddes Gallery, London, 2016
Come see this magical, fantastical, phenomenal exhibition that houses in one disused delicatessen in Kings Cross a consortium of artwork by established, emerging and outsider artists. What’s an outsider artist? What’s an insider artist? Who is who? Which is which, and, does it matter? We are all magical offspring of the world, of creation, of art. We all share the energy, color and enthusiasm of artmaking. We are all absurd, wacky, crazy, idiosyncratic, all love ourselves and hate ourselves at the same time. We are all narcissistic, obsessive and self‐aware enough to make art, naïve, patient and stubborn enough to continue despite the hardships. We do it for ourselves, we do it despite ourselves.

Artists: Tony Allan, Hugo Brazao, Anna Choutova, Chase Coley, James Foster, Jim Geddes, Lowena Hearn, Florence Hutchings, Abigail Jones, Nnena Kalu, Pardip Petal, Paul Kindersley, Sivan Lavie, Vitaly Molka, Mary Ogunleye and Claudia Williams.

HUMAN NATURE
Archive Gallery, London, July 2015
An exhibition celebrating human idiosyncrasies through art.
We believe artmaking is a cathartic and therapeutic process, through which the nonsensical way humans live can be explored: our irrational thought processes, contradictory behaviors and intense emotions. London based emerging artists are invited to explore everyday existence, thought processes, mental health, emotions, relationships, conversations, habits and rituals.

Artists: Sarah Adams, Kristaps Ancans, Daniel Ayat, Edén Barrena, Aleks Borys, Georg Bütow, Maria Jose Carvallo, Samantha Harvey, Leila Hesabi, Jamie Fitzpatrick, Simon Gerrard, Avita Yan Guo,  Anna Kolosova, Pete Keller, Sivan Lavie, Galina Munroe, Fina Schneider, Elisavet Tamouridou, Eleanor Turnbull and Bo Wu.
